Jurors Statement
I truly enjoyed the variety and quality of artistic exploration in the Allied Artists’ work. For the awards, I found myself drawn to the artworks that immediately convey a feeling and a story, in addition to a confident and well-practiced artistic expertise. I was also thrilled to see the range of creative and impactful abstracts. In fact, some of the realistic artists might benefit from adopting the freer touch of the abstracts, while the abstract artists could incorporate a little more of the complexity and depth of the realistic work.
