YWCA TRIBUTE TO WOMEN 2023
The YW is looking for nominations for outstanding women in the areas of Arts and Letters, Business, Community Service, Education, Professions, Non-Profit, Lady Liberty (Military service) , and STEM. These women can or/and work in Cambria and Somerset Counties. The nomination form includes an explanation of how these women have excelled in their particular area, as well as a brief description of other community activities and how they are a role model for other women or girls. Anyone, except those on the committee, can nominate a woman or a couple if they know more than one. The forms are available through the YWCA. Interested individuals can call the YW or stop by for a form. If a woman has already won one of these awards, she is not eligible for another. The deadline for nominations is February 14.
