Allied Artists of Johnstown (AAJ) boasts over 100 members and
encourages new membership from around the region. Amateur, semi-
professional, and professional artists 18 years and older may submit
works for jurying at two of our annual shows. Currently, membership
is represented in six Pennsylvania counties and more than five states.

A BIT OF NOSTALGIA
Allied Artists of Johnstown has been in existence since 1932, bringing local artists together and giving them the opportunity to show their work throughout the surrounding communities. Here is a look back at the program for our

BOARD POSITION

Longtime chairperson Marianne Krizner will be retiring from the position. We are searching for her replacement as Patron Drive Chairperson.
The position is to keep track of donations used for show expenses, awards, scholarships, Friends of Art... etc. Busiest time is May (when letters go out).
Donations trickle in till about August. 2021, we received about 50 donations.
- Patron letters are emailed to members
- Potential donor's letters are mailed (50)
- Keep tally of donations into each category
- Keep the board updated of progress.
