Allied Artists of Johnstown (AAJ) boasts over 100 members and encourages new membership from around the region. Amateur, semi-professional, and professional artists 18 years and older may submit works for jurying at three of our annual shows. Currently, membership is represented in six Pennsylvania counties and more than five states. Allied Artists hosts four art exhibits each year as well as offering scholarships to area students entering the art fields. Allied Artists are exhibited in Johnstown at AmeriServe bank, the Community Arts Center of Cambria County, the BottleWorks, and UPJ's Pasquerilla Center for the Performing Arts. Our organization depends on the generousity of you, our patrons. Funding supports Allied Artists of Johnstown exhibits and events.

AAJ Member Mark PARRISH, 45, answered the Lord's call for an artist on March 7, 2010.  He was employed at Michael's Arts and Crafts, Johnstown as head framer for 15 years.  Donations may be made to the family to cover medical and burial costs, c/o 215 Central Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15902.
