Dear Friend of Allied Artists,
You are a most important member of the Allied Artists of Johnstown. 2024 was a year of
exciting and stimulating exhibits, giving our artists many opportunities to display their talents.
Each of our exhibits was a tremendous showcase of talent, both from old and new members.
We were truly blessed to welcome many new young members in 2024. Likewise, 2025
promises to be another year of new horizons for The Allied Artists of Johnstown.
With that in mind, this letter is an invitation and appeal for you or your organization to
engage in sustaining this pattern of growth and outreach. It is our mission to not only support
and encourage the arts within our community as a whole, but to also spark the enthusiasm of
young artists who want to pursue art as a career. In previous years we have awarded up to
$5000.00 in scholarships, and we plan to continue this program as long as we have the
support of donors like you. With so many schools cutting budgets, and usually cutting first
from the arts, we need your support to enable our organization to help prospective art
students.
We encourage you to become a greater part of your art community by being a financial
supporter of Allied Artists of Johnstown. With your help and financial support we will be able to
sustain our scholarship program as well as continue to bring future inspirational exhibits to
Bottle Works, CACCC and other venues.
You may pledge your level of support for our general operating expenses, award sponsorship or scholarship program. We ask that you send your gift to us as soon as possible so that we can implement our 2025 plan of action. If you prefer, you can now submit your donation to Allied Artists of Johnstown via this website or mail your donation to 411 3rd Ave., Johnstown, PA 15906.
In return, we pledge to be worthy of your investment!
Thank you in advance for your commitment to the arts and the enrichment they bring to our community.
Sincerely,
Judith Crookston, Patron Committee Chair

Introducing a Revolutionary Idea,

A MESSAGE FROM DIANA
Hi to all my face book friends, art enthusiasts, and web site followers. I have been working on this tool for over three years. As most of you know, my pain and stamina levels have been an issue all my life and this necessity is what motivated my invention. After collaborating with the Drafting teacher in Meadville, where our grandchildren went to the Tech school there, I was finally able to develop a perfected instrument. Then came nearly two years of almost wasted effort trying to find a local company who could produce this tool. Finally, I contacted a company in Virginia who produced a high-quality product at an affordable price. 1. The tool is amazingly useful for drawing a precision grid for multiple uses. 2. There is no other method like this. 3. I think every school that teaches art or drafting should have several. 4. It is not a ‘cheat’, it is a simple and easy way to draw a grid on your image and a larger grid on your paper.
So, look up the instruction video, decide if you want or need Diana’s Grid Tool, and then call me. I do not want to ship these so at this time, I am going to market only to those who can pick them up.
